Plain English. Governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Short version: read it, sign up for it, share it. Don't copy it wholesale and pass it off as your own, don't hammer the servers, and accept that we'll do our best but can't guarantee the site is always perfect.

2. Using the site
You may read, link to, and quote brief excerpts of our published content for personal, non-commercial use. You may share links to our pages on social media and in private messages.
You may not republish substantial portions of our content elsewhere without written permission, scrape the site programmatically, or use any of our material to train machine-learning models or commercial AI systems.
3. Intellectual property
All editorial content on this site — words, photographs, illustrations, the publication's name and trade dress, and the names "Alborán Social Club" and "The Alborán" — is the property of Alborán Social Club Ltd or its contributors. We don't license it for free reuse. If you'd like to quote or reproduce something for a piece of your own, write and ask: we usually say yes.
4. User-provided information
When you sign up to our mailing list, enter a giveaway, or send us an email, the way we handle your information is set out in our privacy policy. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you provide.
5. Third-party links
We sometimes link to other sites — clubs, articles, podcasts, sponsors of one-off giveaways. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or their handling of your data once you click through.
